Professor Feng Pao Hsii was widely recognized as the Father of Rheumatology in Singapore. He founded the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology in Singapore at Tan Tock Seng Hospital in 1995.
He also developed Paediatric Rheumatology, a specialty now firmly established in Kandang Kerbau Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the National University Hospital. He was a teacher, researcher and visionary medical leader. The Singapore Society of Rheumatology (SSR) has inaugurated this named scholarship fund in honour of his memory in August 2018.
The FPH scholarship fund supports two awards:
